The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art facility located at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire. The surgery center offers a wide range of services including laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, urology, and gynecology. The center also offers pre-surgical testing, post-operative care, and education to ensure a smooth transition back to normal activities. The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center is currently looking for a highly-skilled Surgical Technician to join their team.

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• Graduate or student of a formal Surgical Technician program or education/training in the military
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Hospital Operating Room or ASC preferred
• Surgical Technician certification required
• BLS certification required
• Medical Technician Certification from the State of New Hampshire required unless other current NH state license is held

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and equipment before, during, and after procedures
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, holding retractors, and suctioning
• Sterilize equipment and instruments, prepare supplies, and transport patients to the operating room as needed
• Monitor vital signs of patient under surgery as directed by medical staff
