Surgical Technician III
About The Position
As our Surgical Tech, you will help prepare the operating room and surgical team so they can successfully perform a variety of surgical procedures for patients. Every day you will set up surgical equipment and instruments, assist the surgical team, and ensure a sterile environment. You will be expected to adapt quickly, collaborate effectively within the OR team, and contribute directly to the patient's healing process. Demonstrates superior knowledge and practice in the first scrub role Understands supply costs and independently Works with team to assure that quality of care is maintained while cost containment is considered Demonstrates superior knowledge of the varied surgical equipment and advanced surgical instrumentation. Assures appropriate equipment and supplies are available for each procedure Assists in communication with Biomedical Services on the status of equipment needing repair or maintenance Educates staff in the care of instrumentation and equipment We are offering a $10,000 Sign On Bonus to new hires that meet the eligibility requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) or Certified First Assistant (CSFA)
- BLS (AHA only)
