About The Position

Under the supervision of a licensed perioperative team member, provides patient care in the operative setting. Provides technical services and support for patients undergoing surgical procedures including scrubbing and circulating roles. Successful performance contributes to a holistic approach to the delivery of services, improved patient care, and a high level of satisfaction from patients and families.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or eligibility to take the CST exam.
• Obtain certification within 12 months of hire date unless an extension is granted by the OR Manager.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a surgical setting.
• Previous certification as a Surgical Technologist.
