OR- ORT(Surgical Tech) FT Days with Call Rotation
About The Position
The Operating Room Technician (ORT) functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and performs delegated job functions such as planning, preparing and setting up for cases, and managing supplies and equipment. The work that is performed is done under the established policies and procedures of the institution and according to the experience and scope of educational requirements of the individual and applicable legal guidelines. The ORT will be expected to anticipate the needs of the patient and physician and make decisions within the scope of their practice.
Requirements
- High School graduate.
- Completion of a Surgical Technician Program in a technical or Jr. College or Hospital based program.
Nice To Haves
- One year OR job experience as an ORT preferred.
