Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Graduation from a Surgical Technology Program
- Certificate from Surgical Technologist Program or 1 year experience documented
- CPR Healthcare Provider required
- Must possess skills in scrub role in Operating Room
Responsibilities
- The Surgical Technician ensures the Operating Suite is adequately prepared for procedure by preparing instrumentation and equipment.
- Assists surgeon by passing instruments during operative and invasive procedures.
- Maintains sterile technique at all times.
- Demonstrates the ability to clean and sterilize all surgical instruments.
- Actively participates in all performance improvement activities and team meetings.
