About The Position

Position Summary:
The Surgical Tech is responsible for assisting with direct patient care activities in the Operating Room. Prepares and stocks the OR before and after surgery. gathers clean and sterile supplies. sets sterile instrument fields. maintains and monitors aseptic techniques. assists with the orientation of new staff. and participates on departmental committees. Requirements

• Two years of demonstrated surgical technologist experience in multiple specialties in an acute care facility
• Successful completion of an accredited course in surgical technology
• BLS Required
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, and understanding of medical terminology
