About The Position

The Surgical Tech I is an entry level role that provides basic care for patients across the life span. Performs duties of scrub person throughout the intra-operative phase of care. Recognizes significant conditions and reactions and notifies the appropriate patient care team. This position will require working 11 out every 12 weekends.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of a Surgical Tech program with the ability to sit for certification OR 2 years minimum working in a Surgical Tech role.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Surgical Technologist/Technician role if completion of a Surgical tech program has not been completed.
• American Heart Association CPR (BLS) certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
