About The Position

Find your purpose by becoming a Surgical Technician at Willmar Surgery Center! The Surgical Technician will be primarily a scrub technician for Willmar Surgery Center OR and/or Endoscopy cases, with the knowledge of instrumentation and basic knowledge of the operative procedure. Under supervision of Circulating nurse, he or she will perform a variety of duties in assisting the surgical team. Participation in daily Willmar Surgery Center processes with a willingness to accomplish any assigned task.

Requirements

• Graduate of Surgical Tech Program
• Current certification
• 1 year scrub experience as a Surgical Technologist

Nice To Haves

• Operating room or GI endoscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team as a scrub technician during OR and Endoscopy cases.
• Maintain knowledge of instrumentation and basic operative procedures.
• Perform a variety of duties under the supervision of the Circulating nurse.
• Participate in daily processes at Willmar Surgery Center.

Benefits

• Starting pay begins at $25.98 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
• Pay range: $25.98 - $36.89 per hour
