Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited school or Surgical Technology Program
Must possess a minimum of one year current operating room experience (student experience allowed)
BLS
Must be able to: Perceive the nature of sounds by the ear
Must be able to: Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word
Must be able to: Perceive characteristics of objects through the eyes
Must be able to: Extend arms and hands in any direction
Must be able to: Seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hands
Must be able to: Pick, pinch, or otherwise work with fingers
Able to lift/carry 50 lbs or more
Able to tolerate frequent prolonged standing/walking
Able to lift, position, push and/or transfer patients

Nice To Haves

Certification as Surgery Tech.
Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking
