About The Position

This opportunity is for a Certified Surgical Tech at Wellington Regional Medical Center, a 235-bed acute care hospital located in Wellington, Florida. The position is a seasonal day shift role, requiring experience in orthopedic surgery. Requirements

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent.
• Surgical Technician certification is required.
• Six months of operating room experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant technical assistance to the surgeon within the scope of practice.
• Follow current professional practice standards, rules, and regulations set forth by AORN and AST.
• Willingness to cross-train and float to meet the needs of the institution.
