About The Position

The Surgical Tech role provides basic care for patients across the life span. Performs duties of scrub person throughout the intra-operative phase of care. Recognizes significant conditions and reactions and notifies the appropriate patient care team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Surgical Tech program with the ability to sit for certification OR 2 years minimum working in a Surgical Tech role.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Surgical Technologist/Technician role if completion of a Surgical tech program has not been completed.
• American Heart Association CPR (BLS) certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
• Requires intra-operative orientation to learn department/unit policies, procedures and work routines.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Surgical Technology.

Benefits

• $11,250 Sign-On Bonus
• Shift Differentials: 2nd shift - $2.25/hour, 3rd shift - $2.75/hour, Weekend - $2.50/hour, On-Call Pay - $3.00/hour (time-and-a-half of base rate if called in)
