About The Position

The Non-Certified Surgical Technologist at SCA Health plays a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures by functioning as a scrub person, ensuring that surgical instruments are clean and prepared, and assisting in the overall maintenance of the surgical environment. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of patient care and operational efficiency in the operating room.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certification
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course
• Two years previous operating room experience
• ASC experience preferred
• ORT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage of USD $32.00 to USD $35.00 per hour.
