About The Position
Up to $15,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility The Operating Room Surgical Technologists work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse circulator to facilitate safe and effective care. Functions in a professional manner on a wide variety of surgical procedures. Selects and prepares the appropriate supplies and equipment for the surgical cases. Scrubs on surgical cases, operates surgical equipment, participates in surgery by organizing the instrumentation, participating in surgical counts, and performs related activities under the direction of the Registered nurse circulator and surgeon.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Surgical Technology
- Licensure/Certification: Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS
Nice To Haves
- Experience: One year experience working as a certified surgical technologist preferred.
