About The Position

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. POSITION SUMMARY: Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assist surgeon during operative and improvement activities. Assesses operating room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met. Monitors, positions, and assists patient during procedure. Renders specialized patient care to patients in the Women’s Center, Special Care Nursery, Nursery, and Labor and Delivery Department, in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Work encompasses direct and indirect patient care and collaboration with other disciplines involved in the provision of care.

Minimum Experience:
Required Certification: BLS
Required Licensure: None
