About The Position

The position involves assisting with the day-to-day responsibilities of the supply chain work in Inventory & Logistics. This includes handling material stock requests, counting and putting away supplies to ensure accuracy of reorder points and quantities, and using software to review stock requests. The role also involves collecting items for scheduled cases, emergency case carts, par level ordering, and staging orders, as well as documenting and notifying the Control Planner of any shortages or discrepancies. Additionally, the position requires assisting the team lead in cycle counts and performing other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate required.
• Previous hospital work or mechanical experience preferred.
• Able to prioritize and work with constant interruptions required.
• Good communication skills desired.
• Basic computer skills required.
• The ability to be bonded at Hospital expense required.

Responsibilities

• Handles material stock requests.

• Uses software to review stat cases and stock requests.
• Collects items for scheduled cases, emergency case carts, par level ordering, and staging orders.
• Documents/notifies Control Planner of shortages & discrepancies.
• Assists team lead in the cycle count.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
