About The Position
Work Schedule : This is a full-time, 100% FTE position. Scheduled hours are 2:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends. We are seeking a Surgical Services Supply Clerk to: Effectively and efficiently fulfill all requests for medical/surgical supplies, so they are readily available to all clinicians in the UW Hospital operating rooms. Support Surgical Services by using the Materials Management system and bar code technology to perform a wide array of materials management activities. Ensure that all emergency carts are complete and urgently deliver patient medical equipment when needed. Demonstrate technical ability and follow job expectations and organizational policies/procedures. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Materials management experience in any industry (Required).
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare experience not required.
- One year materials management experience in a healthcare environment (Preferred)
