About The Position

As a Surgical Services Supervisor at Trios Health, you will supervise daily staff activities for an assigned area or function. Your role will involve determining, coordinating, and supervising daily staffing assignments and levels. You will provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff, and perform or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Additionally, you will assess and ensure the quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs, ensuring compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. You will also lead the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints, maintain regular and reliable attendance, and perform other duties as assigned. A comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA) is essential, along with skills in the application of policies and procedures and knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license.
  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required.
  • 1 year of experience required.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
