About The Position

The Surgical Services Float Pool at Novant Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to work in the Pre-op and Post-op PACU departments. This position requires RNs to possess the necessary skills, competency, and qualifications to work across all facilities within the defined markets of Greater Charlotte (GCM) or Greater Winston Salem (GWSM). The float pool encompasses various specialties, including Sterile Processing, Operating Room, Pre-Op/Phase II, and PACU. The role is designed for those who are committed to delivering remarkable patient experiences and fostering a safe patient environment, adhering to the principles of 'First Do No Harm'.

Requirements

  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree required; 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree preferred; Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Experience: 2 years relevant experience required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state required; Advanced certifications as required per facility; Specialty Certification required.
  • Skills: Appropriate customer service, effective customer relations, verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, interpersonal relationship skills, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and computer literacy.
