Surgical Scrub Technician - Full Time

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred/required
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic instrumentation and implant systems
- Ability to work efficiently in long and physically demanding procedures
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- 1–3+ years of orthopedic surgical experience
- Experience with total joints (hip, knee, shoulder), trauma, and arthroscopy
- Familiarity with multiple orthopedic implant systems
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for orthopedic procedures
- Set up operating rooms with specialized orthopedic instruments, implants, and power equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures including total joint replacements, arthroscopy, fracture repairs, and spine cases
- Operate and manage orthopedic power tools, drills, saws, and reamers
- Perform accurate surgical counts in accordance with policy
- Handle and document implants according to facility protocols
- Coordinate with vendor representatives for trays and implant systems
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of complex orthopedic instrumentation
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards
