About The Position
Description 4x9 hour days, On call rotation and weekends as needed Key Responsibilities Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and operating rooms before procedures Set up surgical trays and ensure all necessary tools and supplies are available Maintain strict sterile technique throughout surgical procedures Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgery Count surgical instruments, sponges, and supplies before and after procedures to ensure accuracy Prepare patients for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting incision sites Handle surgical specimens according to proper protocols Assist with applying dressings and transferring patients after surgery Maintain cleanliness and organization in the operating room Key Skills Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations Strong teamwork and communication skills Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
