About The Position

SUMMARY: Under the direction of a licensed professional nurse, assist in the delivery of direct primary care to the patient experiencing elective or emergency surgical intervention. Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures.

Requirements

OR Tech, one to two years or position related experience.
Knowledge of aseptic technique, broad range of instrumentation and sterilization processing.
Basic computer skills.
Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
Required: High School or Equivalent
