Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Demonstrated keyboard skills and computer literacy.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, medical terminology.
• Effective communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability

• One year experience in clinical/hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Creates daily OR schedule based on requests utilizing the block scheduling guidelines.
• Ability to identify and problem solve scheduling conflicts.
• Maintains effective and professional communication with the OR, office personnel, physicians, and OR Management Team.
• Other duties as assigned
