About The Position

The Surgical Scheduler Team Lead oversees and manages the surgery scheduling process, including coordinating physician schedules, educating patients on the surgical process, and scheduling surgical cases. This role serves as a resource to the department to validate that surgeries are posted correctly and to make workflow recommendations. The Team Lead reviews postings, OR schedules, and OR line-ups, and confirms that patient information has been entered in the appropriate system(s) as determined by the Department. Additionally, the position maintains the daily operation of the posting process using department-specific surgical scheduling software and procedures.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in surgical scheduling or related field.
