About The Position

Join our Gynecological Surgical Solutions team as a Sales Support Specialist and play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience to both our field sales teams and customers. You will act as a trusted internal business partner and the primary point of contact for a regional sales team, supporting the entire presale-to-order journey with accuracy, speed, and a strong customer focus. Role Overview As a Sales Support Specialist, you will: Partner closely with regional sales teams and managers to support all back-office needs related to sales activity. Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce.com quoting, order forms, promotions, and related processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Strategic Contracting, Tech Support, Customer Service) to support product launches, promotions, and continuous improvement efforts. Ensure a smooth and efficient experience for both internal and external customers from initial inquiry through order completion.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Oracle (Oracle R12 preferred), or strong ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a medical device, healthcare, or similar regulated industry is a plus (not required).
  • Prior experience with Salesforce or Oracle is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary internal partner for a regional sales team, handling back-office needs such as sales order lookups, contract/pricing inquiries, and escalations.
  • Own Salesforce.com support for the sales team, including quote creation/revisions, approvals, reporting, and training new and existing reps on quoting.
  • Execute and manage orders, promotions, bulk buys, and one-time offers in Salesforce and Oracle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with audit requirements.
  • Respond to overflow customer inquiries (phone, fax, email) regarding order changes, proof of delivery, order status, and sales contact information.
  • Participate in product training and product launches to maintain up-to-date knowledge and effectively support internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Strategic Contracting, Tech Support, Customer Service) to support launches, promotions, and continuous process improvements.
  • Manage urgent-use inventory support, including replenishment orders, scrub orders, and assistance with quarterly cycle counts.
