The Spring Mill Surgery Center, situated in Carmel, Indiana, proudly holds the distinction of being recognized by Newsweek for two consecutive years as a premier eye surgery center. Located on the north side of Indianapolis, our outpatient facility features six fully equipped, state-of-the-art operating rooms and one laser room, ensuring advanced surgical capabilities. Our skilled surgeons specialize in a variety of ophthalmology specialties. We prioritize work-life balance by offering no scheduled weekends, minimal on-call duties, and a maximum of one holiday per year. This position is a day shift role working either 4 10s (7:00am - 5:30pm) or 5 8s (&:00am-3:30pm), rotating days Monday-Friday. On-call (Saturday 7a-2p) every 8 weeks and Holiday call every other year is required. Surgical Resource Technologists provide service and support before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assists in ensuring the presence and proper arrangement of surgical equipment, supplies and instrumentation in the operating room prior to each operation. Provides assistance to the surgeon in the operating room as allowed by professional and legal standards. Assists in the turnover of the operating room after the procedure ensuring proper routing and/or processing of all specimens, equipment, instrumentation and supplies. Works as a member of the surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel.
