About The Position

Ballad Health Medical Associates is currently seeking an Experienced Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its growing well-established practice at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia. Inpatient Responsibilities include: Evaluates and treats new and chronic general surgery problems. Assists in surgery. Pre & post-operative care ED and Hospital Consults Inpatient service and ER admissions Medical record management and discharge summaries ED/Hospital Call Full time Day and night shifts, 12 hours. Call responsibilities in the evening and weekends Ballad Health Medical Associates – General Surgery in Norton is a growing practice with plans for expansion. We offer patients a variety of surgical procedures and will soon offer more alternatives with the addition of a new Da Vinci Surgical Robot.
