About The Position
Ballad Health Medical Associates and Surgical Associates of Kingsport are currently seeking an Experienced Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their well-established practice at Holston Valley Medical Center, Level 3 trauma center. Surgical Associates of Kingsport is in Kingsport, Tennessee, and consists of five staff physicians. The practice offers a variety of surgical procedures, and the physicians pride themselves on a personal commitment to excellence. Each staff member is a highly trained and caring professional who shares a commitment to skilled medicine and compassionate patient care. The incoming physician will be responsible for general surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Experienced Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats new and chronic general surgery and acute trauma problems.
- Assists in surgery.
- Pre & Post-Operative care
- ED and Hospital Consults
- Inpatient service and ER admissions
- Medical record management and discharge summaries
- ED/Hospital Call
