Surgical Outpatient Manager

About the position

Oversee the daily operations of our Surgical Outpatient Department. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, patient safety, and compliance with healthcare regulations. The Surgical Outpatient Manager will collaborate with medical staff, nursing teams, and administrative personnel to enhance patient care, optimize scheduling, and maintain high-quality standards in surgical services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Surgical Outpatient Department.
• Ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with medical staff and nursing teams.
• Enhance patient care and optimize scheduling.
• Maintain high-quality standards in surgical services.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington.
• Current CPR card (maintenance required).
• ACLS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required).
• PALS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required).
• At least six months of previous leadership experience (charge RN, lead, supervisor, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

• BSN/MSN.
• CAPA.
• CPAN.
• Five years of previous and varied perioperative services experience.
