About The Position

Community Health Partners (CHP) is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible general surgeon with the completion of a surgical oncolog y fellowship to practice full time with our diverse and specialized surgical team. Our team consists of board-certified physicians offering a full-spectrum, multi-specialty surgical practice focusing on general, breast, vein, advanced laparoscopic and robotic, thoracic, oncologic, and elective surgeries. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional and compassionate care and will be a positive, trusted colleague. The existing group i s providing care in the greater Clovis , California area, including our larger neighbor Fresno . The practice provides surgical care at Clovis Community Medical Center (CCMC). Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in General Surgery
• Completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship in Surgical Oncology
• Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in Surgical Oncology
• Eligible to be licensed to practice Medicine in the state of California

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of medical care to individuals in the community.
• Work alongside staff members as a part of an integrated, interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and deliver a model of care that supports the wellness of our patients and staff.
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Effectively communicate treatment plans with patients, family members, and other medical staff members.
• Assist and advise staff members on challenging cases, as needed.
• Refer patients to specialists or other practices, as appropriate .
• Maintain immaculate documentation of all procedures and practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
