About The Position
Position Purpose: Provides primary education to surgical staff within the perioperative areas.
Responsibilities
- Develops and delivers competency training on various skills and tasks performed by staff in the perioperative areas.
- Serves as primary or secondary preceptor for new staff.
- Assist with policy creation, updates and maintenance.
- Assist with yearly education for nurses and other needs with the Nursing Education Department.
- Assist in department preparation and readiness for annual inspections and certifications.
