Surgical Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA) Location: Orchid Dermatology 5304 4th Ave. Cir. E. Bradenton, FL 34208 About Orchid Dermatology Orchid Dermatology is a growing, physician-led dermatology practice specializing in general dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery . Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Surgical Dermatology Physician Assistant to join our Mohs and surgical dermatology team. This position requires a PA who is comfortable independently performing Mohs closure repairs and surgical dermatology procedures in collaboration with the Mohs surgeon. The ideal candidate has strong procedural skills, sound clinical judgment, and experience in a fast-paced surgical dermatology setting. This position is available for an immediate start , though we are focused on finding the right long-term fit for our practice. Key Responsibilities Independently perform Mohs surgical closure repairs , including linear closures, advancement and rotation flaps, and skin grafts following tumor clearance Perform surgical dermatology procedures and excisions Assist with Mohs cases as needed and collaborate closely with the Mohs surgeon Conduct pre- and post-operative patient evaluations and wound checks Manage surgical follow-ups and post-operative care Educate patients on procedures, wound care, and expected outcomes Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely medical documentation Uphold high standards of patient safety, surgical technique, and clinical excellence Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Active Florida PA license (or ability to obtain) Dermatology experience required Demonstrated experience performing Mohs closure repairs required Strong knowledge of surgical dermatology techniques and wound management Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills Team-oriented, dependable, and motivated to grow within a surgical practice What We Offer Competitive compensation with strong income potential Comprehensive benefits package Excellent work/life balance No weekends and no hospital call Supportive, collaborative work environment Opportunities for continued professional growth and advanced surgical training Location Highlights Orchid Dermatology is located in Manatee County on Florida’s west coast , offering world-renowned beaches, a vibrant arts and culture scene, professional sports spring training, and excellent public and private schools. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Active Florida PA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Dermatology experience required
  • Demonstrated experience performing Mohs closure repairs required
