Surgical Dental Assistant
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant for a busy Periodontal Practice in Tucson, AZ. Dental Assistants must have at least two years of surgical assisting for consideration. X-Ray/Radiology Certification is a must! Individuals must possess working knowledge and experience with dental software management programs (Dentrix preferred), such as 3D dental implant cone beam radiography, digital X-rays (Dexis), and dental implant systems. We are looking for a team player to join our team of dedicated professionals. The applicant must possess excellent written and verbal skills, as well as a kind, patient, and caring heart. Our hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a generous PTO package, health insurance benefits, a 401(k) Plan, and a uniform allowance. The hourly rate is commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- At least two years of surgical assisting experience
- X-Ray/Radiology Certification
- Working knowledge and experience with dental software management programs (Dentrix preferred), such as 3D dental implant cone beam radiography, digital X-rays (Dexis), and dental implant systems
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Kind, patient, and caring heart
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Surgical assisting: 2 years (Required)
- Dentrix/Dexis: 1 year (Required)
- CT: 1 year (Required)
- Digital X-ray: 1 year (Required)
- English (Required)
- Arizona X-Ray Certification (Required)
- Certified Dental Assistant (Required)
- Ability to Commute to Tucson
- Ability to Relocate to Tucson, AZ 85712 before starting work
