About The Position

Surgical Associate (Full Time- Days) – Surgery Robust, Growing Surgery department is looking for top skilled nurses. Is that you? Work Location: 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231. Work Hours: Full time- 40 Hours/week; Day Shift; Monday- Friday 0630-1500 Surgery Highlights: At Texas Health Dallas we offer a range of advanced services such as hybrid operating rooms that incorporate advanced imaging devices. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Required

Nice To Haves

Basic experience with stocking, cleaning, or patient assistance tasks in a professional environment (Preferred)
Experience in Environmental Services (EVS), Housekeeping, or Operating Room support (Helpful)

Responsibilities

Completes routine stocking chores: o Restocks warmer with blankets and saline o Changes sharps containers o Stocks linen, and bags for trash and linen, as well as red bags o Stocks Expose II o Ensures two arm boards and safety strap available for case o Stocks and replaces suction liners o Stocks sterile towels in cores o Stocks masks and OR room gels and sanitizers o Empties soiled linen carts to linen chute
Assists in moving patients to and from the operating room suites.
Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice.
Strong Unit Based Council (UBC).
