Assists anesthesia with placement and securing of central lines Assists with complex anesthesia procedures Demonstrates ability to determine specific monitoring devices needed for surgical cases Demonstrates knowledge and practice of aseptic technique when setting up invasive monitoring lines Maintains sterile integrity during invasive anesthesia procedures Monitors aseptic practice of Level I-III Clinical Associate staff Able to trouble shoot OR and Anesthesia equipment Performs routine maintenance of anesthesia and OR equipment Participates with interviewing new hires Provides input for Clinical Associate orientation and annual performance reviews Prepares time schedules for Clinical Associate staff Comprehends and applies principles of adult learning Functions as a preceptor to Level I – III staff

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and 6 to 9 college credits.
  • 1-2 year’s experiences in a health care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with complex anesthesia procedures
