About The Position

This position must meet all qualifications set by BHS. This person assists the operating surgeon, working interdependently and only under his/her direction and is accountable for all actions to the operating surgeon. Assists with direct patient care under the direct supervision of surgeon. Direct supervision means within the OR Suite. Estimated pay range for this position is $35.11 - $45.64 / hour depending on experience.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor degree from an approved medical school or equivalent (Required)
• Basic Life Support
• Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years

Nice To Haves

• Certification from the American Board of Surgical Assistants or Association of Surgical Assistants (Preferred)
