Surgical Assistant - Operating Room
About The Position
Under the direct supervision and direction of the operating surgeon, functions in the first or second assistant role. Does not function concurrently as a scrub tech. Knowledge of anatomy, instrumentation, patient safety and sterile technique. Our state-of-the-art hospital in Jacksonville includes 34 operating rooms that include an IMRI OR suite and a dedicated endovascular OR suite. Qualified applicants must live within a reasonable driving distance to campus to meet 45-minute on-call requirement.
