About The Position

Job Summary: Contributes to the team by assisting the physician with the performance of surgical procedures and instruments.

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Tech who meets eligibility requirements to test for CFA
• Certification in Surgical Technology and CFA, or obtains within one (1) year of employment
• Minimum of two (2) years training in surgical technology from a comparable medical institution
• The basic knowledge of duties and responsibilities of the Surgical Technician
• The ability to communicate with co-workers in a professional manner
• The ability to learn procedures, instruments, and techniques

Nice To Haves

• Certified First Assist
• Completion of wound closure class
