About The Position
The Surgery Technologist is responsible for addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. This role involves continuous communication with the surgeon and anesthesiologist regarding patient conditions, assisting the surgeon during operative and invasive procedures, and ensuring that the operating suite is adequately prepared for each procedure. The technologist monitors the inventory of surgical instruments and supplies, cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments, and participates in performance improvement activities.
