About The Position

Requirements

• Additional medical administrative training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures with physicians, patients, and surgical staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients to confirm procedure details, pre-operative instructions, and any necessary preparations.
• Ensure all pre-operative documentation, authorizations, and clearances are completed in a timely manner.
• Work closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and anesthesia providers to optimize surgical schedules.
• Update and maintain accurate patient records and scheduling systems.
• Handle patient inquiries regarding surgery logistics and timelines.
• Assist in verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary pre-certifications.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
