About The Position

Schedules surgeries within established timelines and creates all related pre- and post-operative appointments. 
Establishes interdepartmental communication to ensure timely and accurate scheduling 
Maintains precise, organized records within the EMR and practice-management systems 
Clearly communicates all clinical and surgical process instructions to patients.  
Ensures all systems and teams are updated with any edited, cancelled, or rescheduled cases 
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must communicate professionally and effectively with physicians, patients, and internal departments
• Adhere to established scheduling timelines.
• Possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Demonstrate attention to detail with strong follow-through and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with medical terminology, the insurance authorization process, and EMR systems is preferable
