This role is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all gastroenterological (GI) procedures, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the center’s surgery schedule and processes. The position ensures all required patient documentation and information are obtained and communicated prior to surgery, and serves as a key point of contact for patients, physicians, and ASC staff, working closely with physician practices to manage and update the surgery schedule. The role requires strong cognitive skills, including consistent mental alertness for sound judgment and high-quality decision making. It demands the ability to effectively multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the capacity to identify problems, analyze relevant data, draw appropriate conclusions, and correct errors as needed. The position also requires the ability to interpret and follow instructions in various formats and to work effectively with both abstract concepts and concrete information in a fast-paced environment.
