About The Position

We are a highly specialized Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Practice looking for experienced an experienced Surgery Scheduler. Hours: Typically Monday 8am-4pm and Tuesday-Friday 8am-5pm. Because we have clinics several times a week, hours may vary +/- an hour depending on patient needs. The first 2 weeks at the office will be a paid training period during which both parties will be able to assess if they feel the position is a good fit. No weekends Benefits available after the first 3 months include: 1. 2 weeks of paid time off per year (with an opportunity to build up to 3 weeks) 2. 24 hours of sick leave per year 3. Medical, Dental and Vision insurance 4. 401K Work Experience: Surgical scheduling experience is REQUIRED. Previous EHR experience is required. Our office EHR is "Advanced MD". Work Location: Phoenix Job Duties: Schedule surgical procedures with the hospitals based on the providers needs Accurately inputs and updates patient information to scheduling spreadsheets Provides ongoing communication with patients regarding any schedule changes or general updates Implant ordering Coordinate surgery scheduling with surgeons outside of our practice Communicate perioperative instructions to patients Schedule preoperative appointments Other administrative duties as needed We are looking for people that are focused on improving the patient experience and maximizing office efficiency. Requirements

Surgical scheduling experience is REQUIRED
Previous EHR experience is required
Our office EHR is "Advanced MD"

Responsibilities

Schedule surgical procedures with the hospitals based on the providers needs
