About The Position
As a Surgery Scheduler for OOA, you will play a key role in patient care by coordinating procedures, surgeries, pre-operative and post-operative appointments for a multi-specialty orthopaedic practice. This will involve obtaining insurance authorizations, submitting patient clinical and financial information, and completing legal or medical paperwork for the patient records.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in a medical setting, including experience in a scheduling-based role.
- Experience scheduling surgeries is preferred.
- Prior authorization experience preferred.
