About The Position
This is a full-time Surgery Scheduler Specialist position in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic located at 3136 Horizon Road - Suite 100 Rockwall, Texas 75032. The department offers a positive work environment, a collaborative team, and growth opportunities. The role is with Texas Health Physicians Group, which includes more than 1,000 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants dedicated to providing quality, patient-safe care at more than 240 offices located throughout the DFW Metroplex. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Two Years of related experience in Healthcare environment
- Surgery Scheduling experience
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, Register and Schedule appointments for patients according to availabiliy
- Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care
- Ensure all required tests needed prior to surgery are done
- Schedule any necessary follow-up appointments
