About The Position

The Surgery Scheduler at Northwest Specialty Hospital plays a crucial role in the General & Breast Surgery Team by ensuring that surgical cases are scheduled accurately and efficiently. This position involves managing patient documentation, facilitating communication, and maintaining records to support the surgical scheduling process. Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
• Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications.
• Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for personal growth.
• Awareness of the workings of an operating room environment and surgical scheduling.
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical cases accurately using manual and automated systems.
• Facilitate telephone messages and communications with a high level of service.
• Assist in managing medical records to ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain accurate records associated with scheduling and patient documentation.
• Utilize automated systems to support scheduling functions.
