Join us and experience a workplace that truly values you Shift: 830-1700 or 10's 7-1730 What you will do: · Coordinates, schedules, and navigates patients and providers through complex follow up, recommendations, procedures, and outpatient hospital testing. · Coordinates ongoing assessment of the outpatient testing process to ensure short turnaround time and results while ensuring optimum scheduling for patient, staff, equipment, rooms, etc. · Facilitates communications and acts as a liaison between imaging department, physicians and hospital staff, patients, families and referring physicians. Notifies and updates any changes in rescheduling to both patient and all affected departments. · Provides support to users on all approved computer applications and hardware. · Coordinates information sharing to RIS/PACS imaging personnel, department management, radiologists, IT, and other Medical Imaging information system user Qualifications: · High school diploma preferred or high school equivalency · Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire. · Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained by the end of the orientation period (approximately six (6) weeks). Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. · Two years of experience in a customer service environment · Two years working in a Medical Imaging environment or other healthcare organization. · Computer experience and a knowledge of medical terminology preferred. One-year experience in health care field using medical terminology and/or insurance codes preferred. Requirements
