Per Diem. Position Summary Daily operation in pre-registration, scheduling and registration of outpatient, observation, inpatient and ED; Collective of accurate demographic information; Collection of correct insurance information for proper billing; Use of insurance management tools; Obtain correct insurance benefits (co-pays, deductibles, pre-certification, referrals and authorizations); Refer patients to financial advocate for charity care and other assistance; Time Management of patient flow; Self-motivation and professionalism; Excellent Communication skills; Department and House wide phone calls; Appropriate documentation as relates to patient accounts; Perform limited order entry; After probationary period, may train new employee’s; Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and cultural needs of the patients served on his/her a assigned location and with the upmost customer service providing a positive patient experience; Perform related duties as required.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Hospital registration or Medical offices experience preferred
