About The Position

In the role of Surgery Aide-Recovery, you will assist in the direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of licensed medical staff, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include rooming patients, recording vital statistics, and aiding in basic medical procedures like collecting lab specimens and preparing patients for surgery. The fast-paced environment demands strong adaptability and the ability to remain focused under stress. You will work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff to maintain a seamless operation in patient turnover and care. The role requires meticulous attention to hygiene, safety practices, and patient needs, always prioritizing the welfare of those under your care. The Perianesthesia team at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center plays a critical role in ensuring safe, high-quality care for surgical patients. From preoperative preparation to post-anesthesia recovery, we provide expert monitoring, pain management, and patient support during key transition points in the surgical process. Requirements

  • American Heart Association BLS within 30 days of hire
  • Minnesota Nursing Assistant registration on hire OR completion of an approved nursing assistant training program within 6 months of hire
