About The Position

Piedmont Henry Hospital - Main OR Surgical Technologist PRN - Variable Shifts available Responsibilities: Facilitating patient care by assisting the physician during surgery in the Operating Room (OR) for multiple specialties, performing technical and some patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Functions as a clinical specialist across numerous service specialty lines. Assumes additional responsibilities for maintaining surgical specialties as necessary and serves as a resource. Functions on a more global level and is more involved in detailed surgical endeavors related to the surgery department.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required
  • 3 years of experience. In lieu of Surgical Tech certification, 7 years of experience can be substituted for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience
  • Current GA LPN License if applicable Required
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist or Licensed as an LPN Required
  • BLS certification Required
