About The Position

Surface Mount Assembler A completes product assembly. This involves aligning parts, following work instructions, and checking that work meets quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Experience performing SMT soldering and basic rework in accordance with work instruction
• Experience assembling RF products and subassemblies, including RF synthesizer components
• Experience completing RF filter assembly following documented procedures
• Ability to read and follow RF assembly drawings, schematics, and standard work instruction
• Attention to detail required in order to maintain required documentation and traceability in accordance with AS9100D procedures
• Abilitiy to follow Aerospace & Defense manufacturing standards, including ESD and workmanship requirements
• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform work instructions to complete product assembly and in accordance with standard work procedures
• Align components and other parts for assembly
• Receive parts and sub-assemblies in work area
• Deliver material to work in process work centers
• Complete pre-assembly work if required
• Ensure that all work meets quality and safety standards and procedures
• Perform quality checks on assembly parts using written test specifications
• Produce and maintain a consistent quality of work while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Support production builds in a high-reliability manufacturing environment
